Data shows Kentucky’s favorite Halloween candy is Reese’s

(CNN) – From candy corn to Kit Kats, the most coveted treats might be tricks this Halloween, depending on the state.

Candystore.com released data based on the site’s bulk sales, which shows the favorite Halloween sweets in each state and nationwide.

The most popular candy across the country was Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

The chocolate and peanut butter confection was also the leading choice in Kentucky, Florida and New Hampshire.

M&M’s and Hot Tamales took spots two and three.

And candy corn made a surprising comeback in the top 10 and was Utah’s favorite.

According to the National Retail Federation, Halloween candy sales are expected to reach $3.6 billion this year.
