Daniel Cameron stops in Scottsville, comments on Mitch McConnell incident
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Republican gubernatorial candidate Daniel Cameron made a stop in Allen County Tuesday.
Cameron is continuing his “Fight for Kentucky Values” tour ahead of the November election. He hit many major campaign topics on Tuesday, but he also commented on Senator McConnell’s health.
“Obviously, I’m grateful for his leadership and his service… and let me say this, I think it’s important to make this clear, that whether it is Sen. Rand Paul or Sen. McConnell, I certainly don’t want anything to happen to our leadership here in the United States Senate… our Republican leadership,” Cameron says.
He also reiterated one of his main goals, which is getting the income tax rate in the commonwealth down to zero as quickly as possible.
