Dance Mini Red holds event at Rockfield Elementary

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Friday evening at Rockfield Elementary School, Dance Mini Red held another event to help raise money for Norton Children’s Hospital.

Students at Rockfield got to learn a new dance routine with Dance Mini Red volunteers and participated in games like duck duck goose, red light green light, Simon Says, and many more.

Students from every high school in Warren County Public Schools partnered to fundraise throughout the areas and visit local elementary and middle schools.

The total amount goal for this year is $5,000 and they are currently at $1,185.71 with just over a month left.

The annual fundraiser aims to help raise money for life saving treatments for children in the Bowling Green area.

“This fundraiser is so important. I think in the it can like impact so many students lives and the children at those hospitals. It’s just a great way to be a part of the community and fundraise and do good in the world.” Said Avery Cruce, Dance Little Red Ambassador for Warren County Public Schools. 

The next event will be Dance Little Red and will take place Friday, February 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at South Warren High School.
