Crews contain 450-acre wildfire at Land Between the Lakes

Update (March 29, 6:10 pm) – According to an alert, crews contained a 450-acre wildfire Sunday at Land Between the Lakes.
Investigators believe the fire is human-caused.
Crews say fire may continue in the interior of the containment and smoke may be visible.
North/South Trail will remain closed but FS Road 337 should reopen by morning, according to the alert.
The investigation is ongoing.

LAND BETWEEN THE LAKES – Fire crews are responding to a 150-acre wildfire.
According to an alert, forest service crews responded to a 30-acre wildfire on road 337 just off road 141 in Kentucky Sunday morning.
The north/south trail was closed.
An update was issued at 11:49 am that the fire had grown to 150 acres and is 20% contained.
