COVID-19 cases are on the rise, Graves Gilbert physician shares advice
FRANKLIN, Ky.- As people gather more frequently with school back in session and various events underway, COVID-19 cases are on the rise.
With increased social interactions, both in classrooms and at gatherings, maintaining good health practices has never been more crucial.
Dr. Karuna Reddy, a primary care physician at Graves Gilbert, notes a noticeable uptick in COVID-19 infections, reporting an average of seven patient admissions daily.
“When people are closer together during holidays, school or conferences, we see an increase in COVID-19 cases,” Reddy explains. As different COVID strands emerge, the risk of infection grows. To protect yourself and others, Reddy advises practicing vigilant hygiene, getting vaccinated and being mindful of any symptoms.
With the holiday weekend approaching, keeping a safe distance from loved ones if you’re feeling unwell is essential. Prioritizing these precautions can help mitigate the spread and keep our communities safer.
