Country ham supper to benefit North Metcalfe Volunteer Fire and Rescue Inc.

METCALFE COUNTY, Ky. – This Saturday, you can help support Metcalfe County first responders.

The North Metcalfe Volunteer Fire and Rescue Inc. will be hosting a country ham supper on Nov. 2 from 4 to 8 p.m.

The dinner will offer country ham, a choice of two sides, including green beans, stewed potatoes, slaw and apples, coffee or tea and dessert. Canned sodas will cost $1.

In addition, a silent auction will take place at 6:30 p.m.

The fire department says all proceeds will go to purchase needed equipment.
