Corvette enthusiasts react to sports car’s new look
BOWLING GREEN Ky.- Born at the General Motors Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Chevrolet’s Corvette has a brand-new look
The 2020 Stingray Corvette has finally been unveiled after much anticipation.
The eighth-generation corvette, dubbed the C8, has a V8 engine with 495 horsepower and dual clutch.
It’s the first time Chevy has designed the car with the engine in the middle, Like Ferrari and other competitors.
The new ‘Vette can go from 0 to 60 in less than three seconds.
Corvette lovers are excited about the new look.
“It’s incredible. I’m excited to see it everywhere. It’s definitely innovative and futuristic. It’s honestly just insane,” National Corvette Museum visitor Thomas Logan said.
GM says the starting price will be under $60,000. The National Corvette Museum will have two models of the 2020 Stingray on display at its 25th anniversary celebration from August 28-31.
