BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – B&R Electrical, Inc., an electrical contractor, is investing $2.5 million in building a new headquarters and related facilities in Bowling Green, Kentucky, according to a release from the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce.

B&R Electrical’s primary services are in manufacturing, including design-build, maintenance and component relocation. Additionally, they have extended their services into healthcare, logistics, warehousing and wastewater treatment facilities.

They currently employ 58, but seasonally can reach 100 employees. This new location will enable them to continue growing.

The company purchased Lot 13-2 in the Transpark to facilitate its expansion. The 6.76-acre lot on Prosperity Drive includes a 41,000 square foot graded pad that was completed in 2019. B&R will construct a 16,000-square-foot materials warehouse, a 6,000-square-foot office building and 8,000 square foot warehouse on the site. Once complete, the property will be able to house over 100 employees.

“We are excited to be a part of the Kentucky Transpark’s continued growth,” said Jeff Miller, owner of B&R Electrical, “With several of our customers already located in the park it is the ideal location of our new headquarters.”

“B&R Electrical has a reputation for excellence that has led to jobs throughout the United States and the world. Out of all the locations they serve, the company has chosen to grow in Bowling Green. We are honored that they have done so,” said Mayor Bruce Wilkerson.
