Community input invited for 2050 Transportation Plan
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Planning Commission wants your input on traffic issues in Warren County, whether it’s about walking, biking or automobiles.
The 2050 Transportation Plan is underway, and it will set priorities for how money from the federal government and the state of Kentucky will be spent to enhance transportation infrastructure.
Needs usually outpace money, and your input will help prioritize which projects move to the top of the list.
Ben Peterson, executive director of the City-County Planning Commission, says, “We encourage everybody to come out, either get online and/or come out to one of our meetings and please let us know what you think. We want to talk to you. We want the input so we can figure it out.”
There will be open house type meetings on Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the BRADD office and at Buchanon Park.
You can attend anytime during that two-hour period to let them know the problems you see. On the Planning Commission’s website, you can take a survey and point out your location-specific problems on an interactive map.
