Community Action of Southern Kentucky: Barren County hosting assessment meeting

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Several counties in Kentucky are hosting assessment meetings aimed at providing vital tools and resources to residents in need.

Community Action of Southern Kentucky is leading the initiative, allowing residents across south-central Kentucky to voice their concerns.

Recently, we spoke with Sandy Hagans, Barren County coordinator for Community Action of Southern Kentucky, who shared insights on the importance of these meetings.

“During the meeting, we may learn of resources that they wish we had in Barren County,” Hagans said.

This gathering offers a valuable opportunity to identify not only the available resources but also the gaps that still exist in the community. The first meeting is scheduled for next Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 9:30 a.m. at the Glasgow Housing Authority.

Residents are encouraged to attend and share their perspectives on community needs.
