Committee announces plans for mental health, substance use crisis center

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A leadership committee announced plans during a press conference at City Hall Monday for a regional mental health and substance use crisis center.

Leaders and lawmakers of Bowling Green met to discuss the state of mental health in the commonwealth and find out what they can do to help.

A committee of more than 30 leaders has been meeting for over a year at City Hall in Bowling Green to figure out the best ways to address mental health and substance abuse in our region.

This afternoon, they announced the multi-million dollar mental health and substance use disorder initiative.
