Cole Edelen announces commitment to WKU men’s basketball

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Another Edelen will soon be hitting the court for the WKU men’s basketball team.

Cole Edelen, following in his brother Jack Edelen’s footsteps, announced his commitment to the Hilltoppers on social media on Wednesday.

The Male High School senior is one of the top three-point shooters in the state.

In his sophomore year, he netted 116 three-pointers which was the eighth highest in Kentucky during that season.

Edelen missed some time this past season due to injury, but before that he was averaging 21.6 points and 5 assists in his junior year.

Jack Edelen is heading into his third year with Western, and with Cole’s commitment, fans could be seeing two Edelen jerseys on the court for the 2026-2027 season.
