Click it or Ticket campaign underway in the Bluegrass

GLASGOW, Ky. – As we enter the holiday season, the Glasgow Police Department will be joining law enforcement around the Commonwealth for the annual Click It or Ticket Campaign.

The campaign will run from Nov. 16-29 and will focus on seat belt enforcement

Last year, there were 567 motor vehicle occupants killed on Kentucky roads. Of those deaths, 300 were not wearing a seat belt, car seat or booster seat.

If you know someone who is in need of a car or booster seat, contact the Glasgow Police Department. The department has some to give out to those in need, according to Major Terry Flatt.

The department can also give tips on how to install a car seat properly, but due to COVID, they aren’t installing them for the public.
