City of Glasgow offering free Christmas tree pick up

GLASGOW, Ky. – The City of Glasgow is offering a free way for residents to discard those old Christmas trees safely.

The City of Glasgow announced Tuesday that the public works department will be collecting live trees from Jan. 6 to Jan. 10.

Anyone living within city grounds is eligible.

They just ask that you make sure all decorations are removed from the tree – that means no tinsel, ornaments or lights.

They also ask you to be sure to set your tree on the curb to ensure public works members can safely pick them up.
