City of Cave City awarded funds for road repairs
CAVE CITY, Ky. – The City of Cave City is set to receive $78,800 in road aid emergency funds.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the funds will go toward slide repairs for South Second Street.
“The Transportation Cabinet is pleased to approve this request for funding to provide assistance to Cave City to repair and maintain safe connections in the community,” said transportation secretary Jim Gray.
Officials say repairs on the road are planned 0.05 miles southwest of KY 70 and will extend northwest to mile point 0.14.
