City and volunteers conduct neighborhood clean up

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This week, the city of Bowling Green, along with volunteers, is cleaning up the Springhill neighborhood in town, helping residents clean up their homes.

A new look at the neighborhood clean-up program is starting this year, and Neighborhood & Community Services is proud to increase interaction between the community by having volunteers out and about, not only cleaning up but also having conversations with residents.

This was one of those moments where people express pride in living where they do. Kris York with Goodwill Industries said he believes Bowling Green is the best community he’s ever lived in when it comes to holistic support.
