Christian County man charged with murder after allegedly stabbing another man

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – The Christian County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is investigating an early morning murder.
CCSO deputies responded to the 2000 block of Butler Road to a reported stabbing at approximately 1:30 am.
According to Hopkinsville Fire/EMS (HFE), an adult male with multiple stab wounds to his torso was found on the front porch of the residence.
First responders initiated life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene, according to the post.
HFE says a female was also injured.
CCSO says 41-year-old Julian Bell, of Hopkinsville, was arrested and is charged with murder and first-degree assault. He was lodged at the Christian County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
