Chamber of Commerce announces 2020 ATHENA Award nominees
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce is recognizing five business women in the running for a distinguished award.
This year marks the 35th year for the ATHENA Award in Bowling Green.
The ATHENA Award honors the local businessperson who makes the major contributions to the community and advancement of women in the business world.
Past ATHENA Award winners select the recipient based on her business accomplishments, community service work, Chamber participation and her efforts to support other women in their personal and professional development.
This years nominees include Jean Cherry with Med Center Health, Debi Wade Jordan with Bowling Green-Warren County Community Education, WNKY general manager Julie Milam, Denise Mitchell with Village Manor and Christian Health Center and Monica Wardlow with German American Bank.
The 2020 ATHENA award winner will be announced in early June.
