Central City police searching for hit-and-run suspect

CENTRAL CITY, Ky. – The Central City Police Department is searching for a vehicle in a hit-and-run investigation.

In a social media release, the department says a hit-and-run occurred at the 300 block of North 4th Street on December 28 at approximately 1:20 am.

Police say a dark-colored SUV hit a parked vehicle and fled the scene. The SUV was following a silver Sedan (see photo and watch video).

CCPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the operators of both vehicles.

The department asks those with information about the vehicles and suspects to call Central Dispatch at 270.338.2000.
