Center for Accessible Living hosts open house in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The office is located in Bowling Green, but they serve the entire BRADD area. On Monday, the Center for Accessible Living held an open house in order to meet new clients and form new community partnerships.

CAL looks to empower individuals with disabilities and assist them however they can through a variety of different services in order to achieve personal goals. Today, News 40 spoke to Lindsey Scott, the manager of the center, to learn a little more about their mission.

Scott said she wants people to know that they are a resource for the community, inclusive of all and encourage anyone living with a disability to reach out.

Currently, CAL has an ongoing program funded by the Neilson Foundation to install ramps at no cost to those with spinal injuries.
