Cave City TikTok creator goes viral after review of India Oven

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cave City content creator Luke Collins, known as Lukefoods on TikTok, recently did a review of India Oven. The review and his reaction quickly went viral, and now the video sits at over 15 million views on the platform with many more on “X” formerly known as Twitter.

Collins did not realize the video would take off like it did, but now it seems to have made all of his content more popular.

“I’ve seen people on TikTok and all that eat Indian food, and it does pretty good. And I see that they would get butter chicken and all that from India, and they’d always highly rate it. They always say it’s so good. And so I was like, ‘Man, I really want to try that too,'” Collins said.

He truly loved the food, his genuine reaction to trying an international hit of a dish, butter chicken, making the video seem all the more genuine.

Co-owner of India Oven Raj Lamichhane says he does not have any social media, but neither did the person who sent him the video.

“My friend who doesn’t even use the social media that much. He texted me that link back. So if he got that, you know, link, I think it’s already was viral or something. So, well, I’m very thankful to him for doing that. So I mean, that many people came to know about the Indian food’s Indian culture,” Lamichhane said.

Lamichhane believes that the video has brought more traffic through the doors of his restaurant and hopes that more people like Collins will come and try his restaurant.
