Care Power Hour raises over $24K in one day for local cancer patients

GLASGOW, Ky. – The T.J. Community Mission Foundation has raised over $20,000 for local cancer patients in need.

Community Medical Care, a program through the foundation, hosted its second-ever Care Power Hour luncheon on Friday.

The program announced that $24,500 was raised in just one afternoon.

This money goes to the Breaking Barriers to Care program, providing rides, oncology treatments, post-mastectomy supplies and more for patients in the BRADD area who need it.
