Car crashes into nursery in Bowling Green

UPDATE (4:17 p.m.)

The crash happened at the Warden and Company Garden and Gift Center on Broadway Avenue.

According to police, the vehicle was traveling south on Broadway, when it left the roadway and struck a pedestrian, before coming to a stop in the nursery. Both the driver and the pedestrian were taken to the hospital.

Police say the pedestrian was later airlifted to a trauma center in Nashville.

The car’s airbag did deploy and the sedan suffered front end damage.
