Burn ban lifted in Warren County, burn restrictions remain in effect

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A burn ban has been lifted for Warren County following recent weather conditions.
According to an executive order by Warren County Judge Executive Doug Gorman, the ban is lifted, effective as of Wednesday due to recent rainfall.
The document further states fire hazard season remains in effect through April 30.
During this time, officials say it is “unlawful for any person to set fire to or procure another to set fire to any flammable material capable of spreading fire located in or within 150 feet of any woodland or brushland, except between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.am. or when the ground is covered with snow.”
