Burn ban lifted in Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – A burn ban in Logan County has been lifted due to a change in weather conditions.

According to an executive order by Logan County judge-executive Phil Baker, due to “improved weather conditions and upon recommendation of the Kentucky Division of Forestry, the ban on outdoor burning in Logan County is hereby lifted.”

The order is effective as of Wednesday, Nov. 6.

However, open burning remains prohibited within 150 feet of the woods between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., according to the Kentucky Division of Forestry.
