Brush fire burns multiple acres in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Multiple agencies responded for a large brush fire on Wednesday afternoon.

Around 2 p.m., the Richardsville Fire Department says it responded for a reported brush fire on Penns Chapel Road.

Upon arrival, firefighters say the fire was spreading quickly, which they believe affected 8 acres.

Additional fire departments assisting at the scene included the Gott Fire Department, Medical Center EMS, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Warren County Emergency Management and Kentucky Division of Forestry.
