Brenda Lee’s ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree’ tops Billboard list

(CNN) – Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” is number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs for the first time.

The 1958 holiday anthem is seeing a resurgence with nearly 35 million streams and 21 million radio plays so far this year.

Lee was just 13 years old when she recorded “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”

Ahead of the song’s 65th anniversary, she dropped an official music video, featuring country singers Tanya Tucker and Trisha Yearwood.

And don’t worry – the queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, is still dominating charts.

“All I Want for Christmas is You” came in at number two.
