BRACAC honors the community

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center honored individuals in the community who make a difference in the fight against child abuse.

Honorees include detective Jess Parry of the Bowling Green Police Department’s Criminal Investigations team, Warren County Public Schools District mental health counselor Lauren Kummer and Jodi Chambers, a victim advocate with the 38th Judicial Circuit. However, the BRACAC wants your help in fighting child abuse.

“I think, as a community, the biggest thing that we can do is raise awareness for this issue that happens all around the world. In order to keep kids safe, they have to be aware of how to keep their bodies safe and we, as a community, are responsible for making that happen,” Heather Stockstill, Lead Child Advocate with the BRACAC says.
