Bowling Green Warren County Planning & Zoning hosts 2050 Metro Plan meetings
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Tuesday, the Planning & Zoning Commission got some feedback on traffic issues in Bowling Green & Warren County.
The public got to share thoughts on the 2050 Transportation Plan, which will set priorities for how money from the federal government will be spent on transportation infrastructure in the area.
This is just the first meeting, and this feedback will be brought up in a different public meeting in the spring.
“We take that feedback and create that scoring criteria so that when those projects are developed, we apply that and then we bring it back out to the community and say, hey, we heard what you said, during the first round, and now we’ve applied that scoring criteria to potential projects. Does this mesh with what you’d like to see?,” Katie Rowe, a transportation planner with Gresham Smith says.
There’s no set date for this meeting just yet, but News 40 will keep you updated on when it’s set to take place.
