Bowling Green police apprehend man after alleged burglary at car dealership
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A man is facing multiple charges after police say he broke into a Bowling Green car dealership on Friday.
On Friday morning, the Bowling Green Police Department says it responded to a call about a suspicious person in the 2000 block of Russellville Road.
Police say they located Dustin Cardwell, who they say was trying to sell a vehicle from a dealer lot despite not being employed with the company.
According to police, Cardwell was in possession of vehicle keys and titles after breaking into the dealership.
Cardwell was arrested and is charged with third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking over $10,000, first-degree criminal mischief, unauthorized possession of a title, no operator’s license and reckless driving.
