Bowling Green man hits big Kentucky Lottery jackpot

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A $1 wager has paid off big for a Bowling Green man.

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, won the rolling jackpot of the Bankroll Jackpot Instant Play game online on June 10. The man won $120,351.75.

According to the Kentucky Lottery, the man said he plays the Instant Play game frequently. He previously won $400 before winning the six-figure amount. He also said that he usually wagers $1 but tried a $20 wager before winning the $120,351.75 jackpot.

“I played the $20 one and it was a loss,” he said. “I was like, ‘Ah, I just lost $20!’ Then, I went back to the $1 one and boom.”

The Warren County man plans to use the jackpot winnings toward a down payment on a home and to invest.

After taxes, he walks away with a check for $86,653.26.
