Bowling Green man facing multiple drug charges

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing drug charges after an investigation.

The Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force says it arrested Kaizon Tyrone McKay, 27, of Bowling Green on Tuesday after seeing McKay removing pounds of marijuana and prescription pill bottles from his home that afternoon.

According to the drug task force, detectives and a trooper approached McKay at the 800 block of Cabell Drive.

Authorities say they noticed a strong smell of marijuana and illegal drugs being put into a vehicle.

In total, authorities say they seized 13 pounds of high-grade marijuana, four pharmacy stock bottles of liquid Hydrocodone and Promethazine with Codeine and 70 packets of THC marijuana gummies, along with 26 packets of marijuana cookies, 14 jars of marijuana wax, 16 jars of marijuana rocks, a money counter and $485 in cash.

McKay was taken to the Warren County Detention Center and faces charges of trafficking in marijauana over 5 pounds, trafficking in a controlled substance (Promethazine with Codeine) and trafficking in a controlled substance (hydrocodone).
