Bowling Green man charged with unlawful imprisonment
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing charges related to an alleged incident at a local residence on Wednesday.
According to a uniform citation by the Bowling Green Police Department, officers responded Wednesday to an apartment for a complaint of a subject with a weapon.
The complainant stated Andrew Krohn, 28, of Bowling Green “physically prevented her from leaving” the residence, threatening her with a large knife and pointing a gun at her on Wednesday evening, according to the citation.
In addition, the citation states the complainant said Krohn threatened to kill her and her children. Police say the complainant said Krohn later left the residence, and she was able to flee the scene.
BGPD says it confirmed Krohn had multiple active warrants. When police made contact with Krohn, they say he refused to exit the residence.
Police say the BGPD Critical Response Team took Krohn into custody after several hours of negotiations.
According to police, Krohn denied threatening the complainant with weapons and holding her against her will.
During a search, police say they located a large knife under a mattress in the residence.
Krohn was transported to the Warren County Detention Center. He is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree terroristic threatening and menacing.
