Bowling Green man charged with terroristic threatening

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing a terroristic threatening charge after an incident on Sunday.

According to a uniform citation, around 2:52 a.m., the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the United States Army Base, Fort Campbell, regarding a bomb threat.

The caller advised that Levi Reeder, 24, had contacted the base about the threat.

According to police, Reeder had called the Brigade emergency number up to eight times.

Reeder stated an “explosive device” was in a black BMW sedan on the base, the uniform citation states.

Authorities say a bomb squad on base was activated, and military officials did not locate any bombs or explosives. The entire base was shut down during this time, according to the sheriff’s office.

When deputies arrived at Reeder’s residence, they say his pupils were dilated and he was speaking rapidly, which is “consistent with drug use.”

Reeder stated “Paul Walker, the ‘Fast and Furious’ movie actor, promised him an eight second vehicle,” the citation states.

The citation further states Reeder also stated the vehicle had to be driven fast to detonate the bomb.

Reeder was arrested and is charged with first-degree terroristic threatening.

He was transported to the Warren County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing with Fort Campbell military officials.
