Bowling Green man charged with sexual abuse of juvenile

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is charged with sexual abuse of a juvenile following an investigation.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded to Lynwood Way to serve a parole warrant to 32-year-old Lindsey Reeder on Thursday. Reeder allegedly avoided police for several weeks.
Reeder was also being sought in regard to a sexual abuse investigation, according to the citation.
Officers say that when they arrived at the residence at Lynwood Way, an individual told them that Reeder was not there. It was later determined that Reeder was at the residence.
According to the uniform citation, an investigation of sexual abuse of a juvenile began on Dec. 14, 2025 after a report that a child who had been at Reeder’s home disclosed Reeder had inappropriately touched the child on or around Nov. 29, 2025.
Reeder was taken into custody on Feb. 12, according to the citation.
Officers say Reeder denied the child was left alone with him but later admitted the child was left with him alone.
The citation states that Reeder denied inappropriately touching the child before allegedly telling officers that he “tickles” the child. In addition, authorities say Reeder provided statements contradicting information given by the child’s mother.
Reeder is charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 12.
Reeder was lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
