Bowling Green man charged with rape, sodomy
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing multiple charges, including rape and sodomy.
The Bowling Green Police Department says a 15-year-old female contacted police Monday and reported she had a sexual relationship with 22-year-old Daniel Adams.
Adams was interviewed at the Bowling Green Police Department on Sept. 14.
Authorities stated Adams waived his Miranda rights and agreed to speak to a detective. Following this, a citation stated Adams admitted to receiving a video with sexual content of the 15-year-old and sending a sexual video of himself to her.
In addition, the citation further stated Adams admitted he used electronic means to communicate with the 15-year-old and deleted his messages with her. Adams also said he had known the female was 15 years old before these incidents, according to the citation.
Adams was arrested and is in the Warren County Detention Center, where he faces multiple charges, including unlawful transaction with a minor, first offense – illegal sex act under 16 years of age, third-degree rape, third-sodomy, promoting a minor under 16 in a sex performance and tampering with physical evidence.
The investigation is ongoing and authorities say additional charges are expected.
