Bowling Green man charged with DUI, reckless driving

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing charges related to operating a vehicle while under the influence.

According to a uniform citation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle traveling around 2:23 a.m. on Campbell Lane.

Deputies say the vehicle was not able to maintain its lane and crossed the center line.

Upon contact the driver was identified as 31-year-old Musa Mustafa of Bowling Green.

Authorities say the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was coming from the vehicle.

According to deputies, Mustafa’s preliminary breath test measured at .153.

Mustafa was arrested and transported to the Warren County Regional Jail.

Mustafa faces charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, second offense (aggravated circumstances), reckless driving, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, first offense, display of illegal/altered registration plate, operating a motor vehicle/motorcycle function without ignition interlock device and operating on a suspended or revoked operators license.
