Bowling Green man charged in overdose death

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green is facing manslaughter and drug trafficking charges.
According to a uniform citation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to an overdose investigation on Sunday, April 28 on Apple Valley Road.
Upon arrival, deputies say they found a dead 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old female juvenile alive. The female juvenile was transported to The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The deceased male has been identified as Vayden Forbes.
The female juvenile remains in critical condition at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville.
The uniform citation shows that the two victims and a third witness ingested M30 fentanyl tablets. The cooperating witness purchased 20 M30 fentanyl tablets for $240 from James Good, 22 of Bowling Green, according to the citation.
Good was located walking barefoot with a shirt around his face, deputies say.
Good was taken into custody.
According to the uniform citation, Good told deputies that he is aware of the death investigation and claims the victims died from Hydrocodine.
On Wednesday, Good was arrested and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail without further incident.
Good is charged with second-degree manslaughter and trafficking in controlled substance, first offense, (carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives).
