Bowling Green man charged in case of intended murder for hire

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man they say intended to pay someone to commit a murder.

The sheriff’s office stated they received information Thursday about an individual soliciting another person to murder someone.

Authorities stated the man who solicited the person was identified as Jeffery Young, 51, of Bowling Green. An investigation over multiple days brought enough evidence that Young intended to pay someone to commit a murder, according to authorities.

Young was arrested yesterday and is in the Warren County Detention Center, where he faces a charge of solicitation to murder.

The investigation is ongoing.
