Bowling Green man charged following shots fired report on Lynwood Way

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing multiple charges following a report of shots fired on Lynwood Way Wednesday night.
The Bowling Green Police Department says it responded around 11 p.m. to the 800 block of Lynwood Way after receiving a call.
Police say at the scene, officers were told Sebastian Howard was “firing a gun into the air and causing a disturbance.” Police say other officers found Howard and observed him enter a home.
Bowling Green police say they detained Howard and obtained search warrants for both the residence and vehicle.
According to police, Howard had an active domestic violence order against him that included a stipulation of not possessing firearms.
Police say they found a handgun under the seat of the vehicle, which matched the caliber of the shell casings officers located at the scene.
Howard was arrested and faces charges of third-degree terroristic threatening, alcohol intoxication in a public area, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
He was taken to the Warren County Detention Center.
