Bowling Green man arrested on drug charges

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing several charges after a traffic stop on Wednesday.
Troopers say they attempted to stop a white Chevrolet Impala on Veterans Memorial Lane around 11:43 p.m. that night.
The driver, identified as Latravion Browder, 18, continued driving onto Old Barren River Road, where the vehicle came to a stop, authorities say.
Authorities say they found a large plastic bag containing suspected marijuana, five 600 milligram THC packages containing cannabis and three handguns, one of which was stolen.
Browder was arrested by the Kentucky State Police and taken to the Warren County Detention Center.
He faces charges of possession of marijuana (enhancement), trafficking in marijuana (between 8 ounces and 5 pounds), first offense (enhancement), first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), speeding 15 mph over the speed limit, receiving stolen property (firearm) (enhancement), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/controlled substance, first offense, third-degree escape (attempt), no operators – moped license and failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, first offense.
