BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is charged with drug trafficking after a reported injury collision.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded Tuesday for a three-vehicle injury collision at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Lane and Old Barren River Road.

Police say a witness stated the driver of one of the vehicles involved dropped something near the sidewalk.

Officers say they identified that driver as 34-year-old Nathaniel Donan of Bowling Green.

Police say they located two plastic bags of suspected cocaine in the immediate area.

Donan was transported to The Medical Center at Bowling Green emergency room for treatment of possible injuries.

Police say Donan later stated he did not drop anything and that it was probably another driver.

Donan was taken into custody and lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail.

He is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, second or greater offense, and tampering with physical evidence.
