BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man has been captured after evading arrest last month.

According to a uniform citation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Devin Gray of Bowling Green on Wednesday.

On May 28, authorities say they saw Gray traveling on Russellville Road. Deputies say they were aware Gray was wanted on four outstanding warrants and began a traffic stop on Gray’s vehicle in a nearby Sonic parking lot.

Authorities say Gray would not cooperate and began to speed away from the scene. During this time, deputies say Gray slowed down to allow an unknown male passenger to to jump out with his hands up.

Deputies say a pursuit was never initiated, but Gray’s vehicle was later found without him on Amy Avenue.

After the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force received a tip, authorities arrested Gray on Wednesday, June 4 off of Sharon Drive.

Upon viewing the inside of the garage through an open door, deputies say they located a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

Gray denied having knowledge about the stolen vehicle, authorities say.

Gray remains at the Warren County Regional Jail on charges of second-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle) and receiving stolen property $10,000 or more.
