Bowling Green firefighters give back with Thanksgiving food boxes

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This week, Bowling Green firefighters gathered together at headquarters to assemble Thanksgiving food boxes.

These boxes were given to local charities and will be distributed to those wanting to have a special Thanksgiving but may not have the means to do so.

Over 70 boxes were assembled for our community.

BGFD says their mission is to make it better, whether that means arriving on the scene and professionally doing their jobs or preparing these Thanksgiving boxes.
