Bowling Green church group confirms scheduled flights to leave Israel

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Broadway United Methodist Church group from Bowling Green is one step closer to being home.

In a post on social media, the church provided an update Thursday morning, saying the group has booked flights back to the U.S.

The group is one of two local church groups that have been stuck in Israel as a result of conflict that broke out in the country.

The second group, River Lake Church out of Glasgow, Kentucky, landed in Boston, Massachusetts Wednesday.
