Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce hosts annual Women’s Leadership Conference

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The annual Women’s Leadership Conference creates an environment for hundreds of women to leave better than they arrive every year.

From the inspirational speakers to the limitless resources, the leader of this event encourages every woman to show up if you can.

Monica Wardlow, the financial center manager at German American Bank, says, “First of all, what they need to know is that they need to be here. And we just hope to make ourselves better leaders. And all this is happening right here in Bowling Green, Kentucky.”

With the guidance and support from thought-provoking speakers, women from across the region, city leaders, and community members came together this year to flip the narrative from “I can do it all” to I choose what matters.”

Wardlow also says, “What we do is we spend time enlightening and empowering women to learn more about themselves so they can go out and be better moms, better wives, better employees, better bosses, better leading ladies.”

The honest conversations and meaningful perspectives helped countless women when it comes to physical and mental health.

If you were unable to attend today, this wont be the last Women’s Leadership Conference. News 40 will keep you up to date with all the details.
