Bowling Green buries time capsule, open in 25 years

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After making the final report of What Could BG Be available to the public, Bowling Green and Warren County buried a time capsule to commemorate the moments.
It’s been almost two years of work to flesh out the BG 2050 campaign and after gathering videos, clothing and various other items, the city buried a time capsule after making the final report live on http://whatcouldbgbe.com.
In the time capsule, were letters from Bowling Green Independent School students with well wishes for the future. BGISD Superintendent Gary Fields said he hopes that many of the children who wrote letters don’t just consider Bowling Green home until they are 18 years of age but continue to live, grow and help build the future.
