Bourbon campaign launches, showcases the rich history of distilleries

FRANKLIN, Ky. – A campaign to showcase Western Kentucky’s rich bourbon history launched on Friday.
The Wild West of Kentucky Bourbon campaign invites bourbon enthusiasts an opportunity to discover the charm of Western Kentucky’s distilleries.
The campaign is a collaboration of five tourism and visitor bureaus.
A video campaign series featuring three friends exploring Western Kentucky’s distilleries will be ongoing.
Campaign organizers say the program will provide intimate tours with master distillers, access to historical buildings and farms, and tours.
The campaign will also provide information to the state after the retirement of the Passport and Field Guide in the summer of 2025. The hope is to increase awareness of less-frequented distilleries.
Collectible souvenir cards, hand-drawn by a local Kentucky artist, will be available on the tours.
Participating distilleries include Casey Jones Distillery (Hopkinsville, KY), Dueling Grounds Distillery (Franklin, KY), Green River Distilling Company (Owensboro, KY), MB Roland Distillery (Pembroke, KY), The Bard Distillery (Graham, KY) and Henderson Distilling (Coming soon to Henderson, KY).
