BGPD working fatal wreck on Russellville Road

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green police are currently working a fatal wreck on Russellville Road near Dishman Lane.

BGPD public information officer Ronnie Ward says the wreck involved a motorcycle and Logan County school bus.

Bowling Green police said in a Tweet that Russellville Road is partially closed. Drivers should expect heavy traffic as police work the scene over the next couple of hours.

Logan County Schools has confirmed on Twitter that three students and a coach were in “a Logan County Schools van.” LCS says the students are safe and have been released to their families. The coach, who was driving the van, received treatment for minor injuries, school officials say.
