BGPD provides update, says officer Matt Davis ‘continues to improve each day’

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department has provided an update on the condition of officer Matt Davis.

In a social media post, BGPD says Davis’ condition is improving.

We want to provide an update regarding Officer Davis. He continues to improve each day, his surgeries thus far have been successful and the doctors will continue to monitor his progress.

Davis has been undergoing treatment after being injured in a shooting on Thursday, July 6 in Bowling Green.
